A chat with Rebecca Hall

Here's what I didn't want to do in my Rebecca Hall piece: I didn't want to go on and on about her father. It's in every single article about her. Yes, he casts a long shadow but she's 35, let her be her own person! 

Here's what I wanted to do: try to find a thread linking her stage and screen roles — with an emphasis on screen because it was easier to see a whole bunch of them. My favorite discovery was Please Give, which sent me on a Nicole Holofcener bender.
